Since 2012, the Lebanese Film Festival has screened over 100 films from across the world, that are either filmed or based in Lebanon, or made by Lebanese film makers including those living in Australia. Providing a platform for Lebanese cinema to be screened in Australia, the festival also has a focus on Bankstown improving local accessibility to arts, as well as providing insight into contemporary Lebanese culture and challenging perceptions of Lebanon, its people and traditions.
