A grenade fired from a nearby hill kills the parents of a 10-year-old boy during the siege of Sarajevo in 1992. Although a kind neighbour adopts him and tries to protect him from brutality of war, the boy cannot help but be exposed to every aspect of mankind’s cruelty. In the hell of war, it seems the boy’s path to destruction is predetermined.
