Opening the 61st Sydney Film Festival, is 20,000 Days on Earth, an innovative feature about Nick Cave by UK visual artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard. The pair take an appropriately wild approach to this visually astonishing and highly stylised imagining of Cave’s 20,000th day on earth. Returning to the magnificent State Theatre on Wednesday 4 June 2014, this red-carpet event by one of Australia’s premiere film events is followed by an after-party at Bungalow 8.
