Seven Ravens is a feature film based on a classic Slovakian fairytale about a young girl who decides to save her brothers from their mother’s curse.
Bohdanka is a young girl born into the troubled family of a baker. Her parents hide a terrible tragedy from her. Many years ago, in an outburst of rage, her mother cursed her seven sons, turning them into ravens. On the cusp of adulthood, Bohdanka learns about the family curse and decides to save her brothers. She is advised by a local witch to sew shirts for them. But not just any shirts—she has to pick nettles, process the fibers into fabric, and make every stitch herself. The girl sets out on a long journey to fulfill her mission.
