Director Andrzej Wajda’s film Walesa. Man of Hope, portrays the inspiring journey of Poland’s most popular leader and was Poland’s official entry for the 2014 Oscars. The biopic tribute to Lech Wałęsa, the Nobel Peace prize-winning politician and human rights activist, is an enjoyable look at an unconventional hero and is also the Opening Night film for the Sydney leg of the Polish Film Festival.
The Polish Film Festival runs in Sydney from 21 - 29 June at Hoyts Cinema Paris.
