A free accessible screening from the Access All Areas Film Festival, Last Cab To Darwin tells the story of Rex, a loner cabbie who finds out he doesn’t have long to live. Setting out on an epic trip through the outback, the film becomes more about life and living it, than death and dying.
To celebrate International Day of People with Disability, Access services offered include: open captions, audio description, Auslan interpreter, wheelchair access and wheelchair seating. Although open to everyone, the screening is primarily for people with a disability who are hard of hearing, or who require these access services, as well as their friends, carers and community.
The screening includes free popcorn, speeches and entertainment.
Bookings are essential. Email: [email protected] or call 9550 2266 (10am to 6pm).
