A chilling psychological drama of injustice and revenge. Outgoing teacher, Moriguchi, reveals to her seventh‑grade class that she knows the recent death of her four-year-old daughter was no accident, and that two class members are responsible. Circumventing a judicial system which protects her daughters’ killers, she exacts her own brand of punishment. Confessions tramples on the usual saccharine portrayal of Japanese schools.
