After her father disappears following the bankruptcy of their family pizza business, 10-year-old Ji-so lives in a van with her mother and younger brother. When she sees a missing dog poster with a five thousand dollar reward, Ji-so naively believes this would be enough to buy her family a house. She hatches a plan with her friend Chae-rang to find a dog with a rich owner, steal the dog, and then return it, pretending to have found it and take the reward. Their target is Wally, the dog of an old rich lady who owns the restaurant where Ji-so’s mother works. But someone else is after Wally – Soo-young, the old lady’s nephew, who’ll stop at nothing to gain his aunt’s inheritance.
