Leichhardt Council’s annual Footprints Film Festival is back on Sunday 24 August. Showcasing Sydney’s best short films with an environmental or sustainability theme, it also offers a chance for upcoming filmmakers to share in up to $5000 worth of prizes. The event encourages the local community to think about and celebrate the environment. The Film Festival is held within the larger Footprints Eco Festival, which features environmentally sustainable market stalls, music and a range of family friendly eco-centred activities.
