Part of August’s Underbelly Arts Festival on Sydney’s historic Cockatoo Island, Dance Films is a series of dance films by award winning screenwriter and director Mischa Baka, in which images are juxtaposed in order to create a dialogue between people, place and movement. As dancers both clash and synchronise, weaving between each other and their environment, the music becomes the playful muse; navigating between anticipation, expectation and confrontation.
