Louise’s glamorous acting days may well be gone, but she still tries to live the high life in her picturesque Swiss town. Her middle-aged son, a taxi driver, looks after her as best he can. Their life is disrupted, however when Louise’s long lost other son arrives on their doorstep. Will the two brothers reach an understanding? Will Louise cope with the memories of her acting career and Hollywood dreams as she stares at a picture of Marlene Dietrich? What will result from the newly discovered son’s gambling instincts? The story takes some intriguing directions — none of them will be the same again.
