The first of its kind, the Veterans Film Festival is held each year on 11 November as part of Remembrance Day or Armistice Day (which marks the end of World War I), it showcases films about serving and ex-serving military personnel which highlight the impact war has on society. It gives filmmakers around the world the opportunity to submit stories on film that explore diverse perspectives, outcomes and influences.
