The Japanese Film Festival (JFF) is the largest Japanese Film Festival outside of Japan, showcasing the best in contemporary Japanese cinema – from anime to internationally acclaimed drama, and everything in between.

JFF is organised by The Japan Foundation and started in 1997 with three free film screenings by Festival Director Masafumi Konomi, and has now grown to 45+ films in 9 principal cities, attracting an audience of approximately 25,000. The JFF also brings out special guests from Japan for Q&A evenings and film screenings.

In Sydney on 17-27 November, treat yourself to the latest collection of curated Japanese cinema treats, with five capital cities across Australia also on the touring schedule between October and November.
