Founded in 1988, the Delphi Bank Greek Film Festival has now been running for over a quarter of century, bringing the best Greek films to cinemas lovers in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne – the latter boasting the largest Greek population of any city in the world, outside of Greece. Running for nearly three weeks each year, Australia’s Greek Film Festival is also arguably the largest of its kind. Organisers are also very much focussed on engaging with non-Greek Australians, sharing not only cinema treats, but Greek culture and food, along with post-screening Q & A sessions.

The opening night film for 2015 is the World Premiere of Alex & Eve, a film adaptation of the hit stage show directed by Australian Peter Andrikidis (Wildside, Underbelly, False Witness) which stars Richard Brancatisano, Andrea Demetriades and Zoe Carides. Early bird opening night tickets here.

Full 2015 film schedule will be announced soon.
