The Australian Music Week industry event is back for 2017 and this year includes a Film Festival with an impressive array of World and Australian Premieres across two venues from October 31st until November 3rd. Alongside their shorts program, is the Sydney premiere of Something Quite Peculiar: The Life and Times of Steve KilbeyDecks and the City (about Adelaide’s dance music scene) and two films about gender and music: Play Your Gender (Canada) and Breaking The Mould (Australia). There’s also the 30th anniversary screening of Australian Made whilst special guests for the festival include Chris Jagger (brother of Rolling Stones frontman) and Richard Lowenstein (director of Australian Made, Dogs In Space and the upcoming Michael Hutchence documentary).
